Four years ago HEGAN, the Aeronautics & Space Cluster of the Basque Country, a non-profit association -according with the "Cluster" model devised by the University of Harvard-, that groups most of the Basque aerospace companies, organised a conference on "New Manufacturing Trends for Aeronautical Industries", with the collaboration of INASMET.

As a consequence of the success of this first conference, we decided to organise it on a two-year basis and we are trying hard to make this event an International point of reference to all those interested in the technological advances made in

this Sector, such as manufacturers of aircrafts, structures, engines and components, researchers, universities and public and private institutions.

This Conference will also offer the participants the opportunity to discuss and exchange opinions and points of view on developments and progresses in this Sector, thanks to the participation of leading companies and of well-known international speakers around the world in their fields and specialities.
